Malabaila Langhe Nebbiolo Aja 2023 extra-brut-selection which has been drawn fromThe Malabaila family has been farming this corner of Piedmont since 1362, which is a long time to work out what your land does well. Aja, named for an old farmhouse on the estate, is their case for Nebbiolo you can open tonight. It has the dried rose perfume and the fine grained grip that make Nebbiolo the noble grape of Piedmont, without asking for the decade of patience a Barolo demands. Call it a weeknight ticket into the Langhe.
